Barbecue party to mark the end of the Google project

The "Google KGX1 - London Headquarters" project has been with us for 6.5 years now. From the first enquiry from Josef Gartner GmbH to the confirmation of the main contract, it took 2 years alone and another 1.5 years until the contract negotiations were finally concluded.

During this time, our team worked diligently on the planning and carried out various tests together with our customer. Countless samples and mock-ups were produced and various material tests were carried out. Among other things, a mock-up of the façade elements on a scale of 1:1 was set up on the premises of Josef Gartner GmbH in Gundelfingen an der Donau in order to carry out various stress tests on it and to examine its weather resistance.

In December 2019, production started here at the Kleinheubach site and the first components were loaded. Assembly in London then started in May 2022. At the present time, around 70% of the larch and Accoya façade elements have been fully assembled.

Even though the installation has not yet been finalised on the construction site, the production and the project is already largely completed for us. To honour the great work of all those involved, a barbecue party was held on Friday, 7th July 2023. We would like to thank our client, Gartner, for the excellent cooperation, our team for their relentless efforts, and we would also like to praise our HASSLACHER Holzbauteile GmbH & Co. KG as well as to all the other production companies involved in our HASSLACHER Group.
