"Lord's Cricket Ground - Warner Stand" shortlisted at the World Architecture News (WAN) Awards 2018

The shortlist of the 2018 Wolrd Architecture News (WAN) Awards 2018 was announced. We are delighted that our project "Lord's Cricket Ground - Warner Stand" has been selected for the finals in the category "Sport in Architecture". The cricket stadium in London is considered to be the most important and most traditional address for cricket worldwide. The "Warner" Tribune, originally built in 1958, has been replaced by a new and modern design. The canopy is semi-translucent, with wide cantilevered glulam trusses made of American White Oak, supplied by HESS TIMBER with preassembled steel parts.
