This very exciting and exceptional project is currently the biggest BauBuche project in Great Britain and one of the most important in the whole world. The demanding structural development and planning was made by the Structural Engineering team of HESS TIMBER in close cooperation with the customer. The architectural concept is based on flexibility and modularity in the layout. In this project, HESS TIMBER also used the BauBuche xxl beam as a 3-field-system. The use of the innovative Hasslacher product “Cross laminated timber with Excellent surface” made from birch deserves particular notice.
