The managing director of the HASSLACHER Group, Christoph Kulterer and the sales manager of HESS TIMBER, Markus Golinski, presented their products and current projects in Australia at the "Austrian Industry Seminars on Structural Timber" hosted by "Advantage Austria" on 01 and 03 May 2017.

At this event, the participants from the Australian construction industry were shown the attractiveness of the buildings made of wood as well as the advantages of timber construction as opposed to conventional construction methods.

HESS TIMBER and HASSLACHER are pleased to have found a new and promising market in Australia.

In 2016, the country's first commercial wooden multistorey office building was built in Sydney in the district of Barangaroo South. This project marks not only a milestone in the history of HESS TIMBER but also in the Australian construction industry. The foundation for a trend-setting and novel way of building in the urban context was created.
