The 2020 Structural Timber Awards once again received hundreds of entries from companies who are at the forefront of the industry in terms of innovation and expertise. Timber continues to stand at the core of success across sustainable construction projects. There are 17 categories that cover every aspect of the industry from healthcare and social housing to engineering and installation, ensuring that many aspects of the building process is celebrated - recognising the design and technology that makes these inspiring projects possible.

We at HESS TIMBER are especially proud to state that our project "RHS Garden Bridgewater - Welcome Building" is listed a finalist in several categories at the 2020 Structural Timber Awards. New for 2020 – due to the current Covid-19 pandemic, the Structural Timber Awards will be taking place online via a live, Virtual Awards Ceremony.

In 2016, the country's first commercial wooden multistorey office building was built in Sydney in the district of Barangaroo South. This project marks not only a milestone in the history of HESS TIMBER but also in the Australian construction industry. The foundation for a trend-setting and novel way of building in the urban context was created.
