"Bloomberg European Headquarters" shortlisted at "Wood Awards" and "Structural Timber Awards"

The Bloomberg European Headquarters in London is considered one of the most outstanding architectural projects of recent years. So, it is not surprising that the project made it to the finals at two timber construction awards. At the Wood Awards (Category "Interiors") as well as at the Structural Timber Awards (Categories "Low Energy Project of the Year", "Client of the Year", "Project of the Year"). HESS TIMBER supplied the complete substructure for the highlight of the building, the so-called "Vortex", an arch construction cladded with red oak.
