Today, we received new and beautiful pictures from the photographer Laurent Blossier that he took from the Auditorium of the "La Seine Musicale".

The outstanding glulam grid construction has been manufactured and assembled by HESS TIMBER and consists of more than 1,700 individual timber elements with a total volume of approx. 900 m³ of double-curved glued laminated timber.

The architectural inspiration for the structurally free-formed foyer was the spiritual traditions of two Aboriginal tribes. This prestige project of a distinctive glulam construction has already won several national and international awards.

Timber architecture in highest perfection

The museum of the Fondation Louis Vuitton was opened in October 2014. The famous architect Frank Gehry designed the building, that essentially consists of 12 “canvas” made of glass, steal and timber. HESS TIMBER delivered the timber construction for this unique building.

This project marks not only a milestone in the history of HESS TIMBER but also in the Australian construction industry.
