TIMBER LIMITLESS
Moreton Bay Campus - UniSC
The University of the Sunshine Coast (UniSC) is expanding its Moreton Bay campus at Petrie to provide more room for teaching, research, sporting activities and socialising. Three mass timber buildings are planned for the new development, including two educational facilities and a large spanning sports hall, which will be constructed using over 650 m³ of glulam from HESS TIMBER.
The buildings will be located opposite the campus’s large foundation building, adding a further 12,500 square metres to the existing floor space of 16,000 square metres. The development provides an inviting entrance to the campus including public spaces, key retail/cafes and interactive frontages. The three buildings are due for completion in 2023.
